This is the legacy site for the School Physics Projects. Active projects are now at schoolphysicsprojects.org .
This is one I have played with before. A-level students successfully built a direction antenna and circuitry to identify radio spikes due to lightling and estimate their direction.
This new version is simpler but more sensitive. Again we have the directional broadband antenna and amplifier. Now a Raspberry Pi logs the data in .mseed format. Multiple stations can now be used to triangulate to the source.
